Americans are under way more stress than years past. Obviously, that’s why so many of us have trouble falling asleep.  But, there’s a surefire way to make your eyes tired that’s also good for the brain!

Read a book before going to bed.

Researchers from University of Sussex says reading a book in bed reduces stress levels by a whopping 68 percent!  If you need a comparison, it’s more relaxing than drinking tea, listening to calming music, or going for a walk!

Elite Daily reports that it takes you just six minutes to completely relax if you’re reading a good book.  So, if you had a rough day at work and want to shake it off, grab your favorite book!  It’ll do the body good AND help you sleep!
