Hey hey hey, we love this lady! Pink, otherwise known as P!nk really kicked off 2018 with a stellar National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl, but she also crushed her performance at the GRAMMYs, too!
Pink first joined the music industry in 1995 when she signed on to an all girl group called “Choice.” Obviously, that group didn’t last long and Pink found herself pursing the solo life. She released her debut solo-album, which went multi-platinum with the hits “Take Me Home” and “Most Girls.” But, it was only after she dropped Mizzundaztood in 2001 did we really pay attention to her. Her sophomore album produced the smash hits “Get The Party Started,” “Just Like a Pill,” and “Don’t Let Me Get Me.”
She quickly showed us that she was the anti-Britney Spears and we loved her for that. Then, she joined Xtina, Lil Kim, and Mya for “Moulin Rouge,” which continues to play on radio stations all over the nation to this day.
Pink then started transforming her image, and in 2006 came out with “I’m Not Dead,” which spawned the hit “So What.” That’s when we were first introduced to the P!nk we all know and love.
Now, she’s singing about body acceptance, positivity, and self love. Her new album, “Beautiful Trauma” touches upon all these notes while saying “everyone is f’d up, don’t let it define you.”
P!nk is one of the world’s top-selling artists. She sold old over 40 million albums and 50 million singles worldwide. She also won three Grammy Awards, a Brit Award, a Daytime Emmy Award and seven MTV Video Music Awards, including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. She also was named Woman of the Year in 2013.
Keep doing you, P!nk!
