We had our Mon-STAR Hayride at Fairview Tree Farms in Shelton. Thank you to everyone that came out to support it and help raise money for breast cancer research. Fairview Tree Farms did an incredible job at scaring all of us! Anna, Begley and Alyssa were terrified- Hanging monsters above your head with chainsaws?! Brilliant.

Breast Cancer Facts
According to the American Cancer Society, a staggering 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime. In fact, Connecticut has the second highest incidence of breast cancer in the United States. Fortunately, great strides have been made in early breast cancer detection and treatment, and millions of women are surviving breast cancer today because of the dedication to finding a cure.
The Smilow Family Breast Health Center at Norwalk Hospital offers women a multidisciplinary team of experts with a singular focus on breast health. Diagnostic imaging, surgery and medical oncology are all centralized, with a nurse navigator to help patients through their screening, diagnosis, treatment and aftercare. The Center features dedicated breast surgeons and medical oncologists who only treat breast cancer. These physicians meet weekly in a multidisciplinary tumor board to discuss new cases and coordinate the best care for each patient.
Donations will help support patient care, counseling and support services, integrative medicine (reiki, massage, acupuncture), breast cancer research, clinical trials, free mammograms for women in need, and much more.
