Don’t miss this initial live concert in the Aquarium's newly refurbished IMAX Theater! Original “Rent” stars Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp will celebrate the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit, as well as their individual musical careers.The 7 p.m. show will be the first live concert on the stage added to the IMAX Theater during a refurbishment this fall.Pascal (as the HIV-positive musician Roger) and Rapp (as the filmmaker Mark) starred in the original Broadway production of “Rent,” which won four 1996 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The production closed in September 2008 after a 12-year run of 5,124 performances – at the time, the ninth-longest-running Broadway show ever. Pascal and Rapp also starred in the 2005 film adaptation.In their Aquarium concert, Pascal and Rapp will present songs and stories from “Rent,” as well as duets and material from their respective solo shows and recordings.Pascal’s stage appearances include “Aida,” “Cabaret,” “Chess” and, most recently, “Memphis.” Rapp’s credits include: a solo show, “Without You”; such musicals as “You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown” and “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”; and such films as “Adventures in Babysitting,” “Dazed and Confused” and “A Beautiful Mind.”Tickets for “Adam and Anthony!
