Soul Superstar's First Shows Since 2010 Mark Recovery from Serious Vocal Issues Maxwell, the chart topping, arena-filling soul superstar celebrated for his show-stopping performances, has announced his first live dates since June, 2010. Maxwell has been working onBlackSUMMERS'night, the second of his planned trilogy, and the "World Winter Warm Up" -- will preview some songs from the upcoming album besides featuring material from his four platinum records.

Maxwell's last album BLACKsummers'night (2009) debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts with the best first-week sales of his career, a triumphant return after 8 years out of the limelight. USA Today, the New York Times, and the Washington Post named it the best album of 2009, and it won a Grammy for Best R&B Album.
