Start Time: 7:00 PM End Time: 8:30 PM Each month a guest poet presents a reading after which the audience is encouraged to share original works at an open mic. This month's guest is Kate Lamberg. Kate was born in Huntington, NY & has been writing poetry her whole life, having been published in several college anthologies, and in a literary magazine. Not wishing to be categorized into any one style, Kate loves writing haiku, and poems reflecting her love of nature and music. Kate's most recent publication is, "In Company of Women", an anthology of tributes by and for women. In addition to writing poetry, Kate runs Tadasan Center for Natural Healing, where she offers therapeutic massage, yoga, music for healing, and retreats.Special thanks to and Mankh, member of the Performance Poets Association, for hosting this series.
