This seminal work received its U.S. premiere in both staged and concert versions in Philadelphia, under the baton of Leopold Stokowski. Now, in a first-of-its-kind partnership with Philadelphia Live Arts and the New York-based Ridge Theater Company, viewers will witness a visually powerful performance featuring dancers, video projection, dramatic staging, and theatrical lighting.The program opens with the Wagner's Siegfried's Idyll and also features star pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet, performing Ravel's Piano Concerto in G major, which also received its first American performances in Philadelphia.
