Come join us for a delightful afternoon with Early Music performers Barbara Metz on Baroque cello, and John Metz on harpsichord in the Baroque to Modern on Main series at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Trumbull. The husband and wife duo have concertized extensively in Korea and throughout the US, including Connecticut, Florida, New York, California, and South Carolina. Their program in will introduce the audience to music dating from the 17th, 18th and 20th centuries including works by Antonio Maria Bononcini, Elisabeth-Claude Jacques de la Guerre, Giuseppe Jacchini, Georg Muffat, Johann Sebastian Bach, Jean-Baptiste Barriere, and Alexei Haieff. Elina has served as Artistic Director since the inception of the series.
