Join us for an amazing night as we debut our new organization and mission for 2013!!Our Mission is...To better the lives of youth and young adults through the sport of cycling. The new Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program (CCAP) is the organization behind this mission. Its goal is to create a system that gives young people the opportunity to become involved in the sport of cycling. It will support youth and young adults in their cycling endeavours spanning from Connecticut's high schools to junior cycling teams all the way to a focused elite team. We believe that at each level of this new support system a young person will have his or her life changed through the power of the sport, and they will have the opportunity to go as far in cycling as their ambition and dedication will carry them. The Breakaway Benefit is the official debut event for CCAP. We are excited to rally the cycling community behind its cause. What will the Breakaway Benefit raise money for? The Breakaway Benefit will raise money to support the new CCAP organization. CCAP will be helping fund and organize CT high School cycling programs, a new CT-based junior travel team, and its group of mentors and ambassadors, the CCAP Team p/b Aetna. "Tell me more about what to expect at the Breakaway Benefit!" All folks 21 years and older are encouraged to join us. Come dressed comfortably in business casual attire.  Guests will enjoy cocktails and appetizers followed by dinner. What if I Can't Attend?
