The Commack Community will welcome its first Winter Farmer's Market at The Suffolk Y JCC, 74 Hauppauge Road, on January 6, 2013, from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Regional producers will be offering fresh products including vegetables, fruits, herbs, honey, jams, baked goods, eggs, cheeses, pasta, pickles, fair trade coffee, spices, granola, wine, handcrafted soaps and much more. The market will run through March 31, 2013.
The Farmer's Market, operated by Friends & Farmers, Inc., accepts SNAP/EBT benefits, and debit/credit cards. Friends & Farmers, Inc., is a mission-based program to preserve open space and small family farms.
