In 1991, Mr. İnançer became the Director of the Istanbul Historical Music Ensemble, part of the Turkish Ministry of Culture. For the past 22 years, Mr. İnançer has delivered the keynote speech in Konya, Turkey at the annual ‘Shab-i Arus’ ceremonies that commemorate Mawlana Rumi. He has lectured extensively on Rumi, the Masnawi, and the Sufi tradition both in the media and at conferences worldwide. He is the author of eight books, two of which focus on the Masnawi. Mr. Inancer also holds a law degree from Istanbul Law School.
