School Daze. Written and directed by Spike Lee, this musical/drama stars Laurence Fishburne, Giancarlo Esposito and Tisha Campbell-Martin. Based in part on Spike Lee's experiences at Atlanta's Morehouse College, Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University, it is a story about fraternity and sorority members clashing with other students at a historically black college during homecoming weekend. It also touches upon issues of real and perceived racism related to skin-tone bias and hair quality within the African-American community. Held in partnership with Connecticut Film Festival and Some Things Fishy Catering. Tickets purchased for the orginally scheduled screening date on Friday, February 8, will be honored. Complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served. $20 for each film / $65 for all four (February 8, 13, 20, 27). Click for Series tickets or Individual tickets.  « Back to Calendar
