Matt, Nick and Mesa met at the University of Maine, Orono where they all studied classical music as well as independently pursued jazz and contemporary projects. After graduating each went their own way, travelling, working and continuing to play music. In the summer of 2012, the three reunited to evolve the group known as Big Charlie's Rubber Band. Currently based in the NYC/Connecticut region, Big Charlie's is breaking onto the scene with exciting original music based in guitar, piano and drums with 3 part harmony vocals.
