Daily Dish: The 80/90's are Back!
The Daily Dish is brought to you by:
When you think about the name Alan Thicke, you picture Growing Pains or maybe the Love Boat- He’s an actor and his son, Robin in the musican. But in reality, Alan is a song writer too and has co-written a song on Robin’s new album called “Ain’t No Hat 4 That” which includes Robin’s 3 year old son… Of course the song Blurred Lines is number one on our Shooting Stars countdown and the hottest song ever right, definitely the song of the summer- The whole album will be released August 12th.
In an un-official but amazing new off-broadway show- Saved By The Bell is back! It’s called Bayside! The Musical and it hits the Manhattan stage in September. Uh, no real actors from the original show will be in it- but they promise to tackle all the big questions like do Zach and Kelly have what it takes to make it through the 90’s or whether Slater will quit wrestling once and for all- and of course they have to reenact the most dramatic episode… Remember when Jesse got addicted to caffeine pills?
You will never believe what band is performing tonight on Jimmy Fallon- Uncle Jesse returns with his band- Believe it or not, Jesse and the Rippers. Yes, that band from Full House. John Stamos posted an Instagram video earlier this week singing a bit from the theme song and according to tweets they are reuniting tonight. My favorite is when Jesse had the twins and wrote this song for them:
