A guy in Utah named Ken Sullivan just found out that he’s one of the 1000 finalists for a trip to Mars.  One thing- It’s a one way trip.  That means that the person that goes will eventually die there.  Turns out this guy happens to be married with FOUR kids and the reason why he’s a finalist is because his whole video was about his crazy ex-wife and getting away from her.  Now his current wife wants a divorce. More here.

Jen Scully is a high school teacher in Denver, who found out recently that one of her students had kidney failure, and was doing dialysis to stay alive.  So, she was tested and it was determined that she was a positive match.  She did in memory of her aunt that she lost to cancer.  Feel good story of the day.  We asked on Facebook who your favorite teacher was and why. More here.

Mary is upset that her co-worker/work husband Bo didn’t give her credit for a project that they worked on together.  She wants him to send an email to their bosses and explain that she did the work for the project.  He says that it’s ridiculous and she’s being a child.  Ultimately the audience agreed with Bo.  She needs to be able to stand up for herself and it’s not his responsibility to make sure she gets “credit” for doing her job.

Three things Big Jim thinks you should know about today:

1.  JCPenny laying off workers.

2.  Oscar Nominations (See above!)

3.  Apple Refunding Money to Parents.
