Harold Ramis died yesterday at the age of 69, from complications related to an autoimmune disorder. He played Egon Spengler in "Ghostbusters", but he also wrote or co-wrote most of the best movies from the 80s, including "Animal House", "Meatballs", "Stripes", "Caddyshack", both "Ghostbusters", and "Groundhog Day". The season premiere of "The Voice" was last night. This time we have Shakira and Usher back, and Cee Lo and Christina are out. The judges did a medley together where they all sang each other's songs.
They’re calling it a shocking celebrity split but this seems to be the least shocking thing I’ve heard- Representatives for Robin Thicke and Paula Patton confirming that they have separated. They’ve been married for about nine years and have a four year old son. They were together since they were teenagers.
HEROES IS RETURNING
If you were a huge fan of Heroes back when it debuted in 2006, you’ll probably be pumped to know it’s coming back next year on NBC- It’s called Heroes Reborn. 13 new episodes. There saying that they’re not ruling out some of the original cast showing up but that everything will be shrouded in secrecy until it premieres. Anna was obsessed with this show and even named her

BAD NEWS TO HAPPY MUSIC
A Fairfield mom was arrested after she allegedly stole money out of a tip container at a Westport restaurant to pay for her meal. She also had her two small children with her. She did it while the cashier was distracted and later admitted to police that she did it. She was released after posting a $2500 bond. Full story here.
A grandfather in Sterling, Connecticut went to pick up his grandson at school, but he took the wrong five-year-old boy by mistake. The little boy was terrified and the grandfather didn’t realize his mistake until he got home. That’s when he called the school to let them know he took the wrong kid. More here.
A 30-year-old woman from Glastonbury, Connecticut was arrested twice on Friday night. First she was arrested after getting a DUI- but then she went home, got into a fight with her 62-year-old mom and bit her. Police responded to the domestic dispute call and arrested the daughter for biting her moms hand and was arrested for assault on an elderly person and disorderly conduct. All about it here.
