Join Star 99.9 for the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk, 3K Walkers only and Kids Fun Run on Sunday May 12th!
For over thirty years the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital (the former Milford Hospital) has hosted a Mother’s Day Run & Walk to promote wellness & health. All abilities are invited to join us as we celebrate this special day!
Proceeds from this year’s Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk will support the Orthopedic Department at Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital.
The 5K chip timed Run (or walk) and 3k Fitness Walk (untimed) begins & ends at the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital.
You can RUN or WALK the entire 5K if you want to be timed & eligible for awards. Our 3K walk (1.8mi) will not be timed.
We also offer a FREE, 1/10 mi Kids Fun Run prior to the start of the 5K. All kids 5th grade (10 years) & under can enter this non-competitive (no awards) fun run.
We encourage all levels of participants for all of our events. Join us for a great start to Mother’s Day.
SWAG- All 5K & 3K participants will receive a specially designed shirt and plenty of food & fluids. Shirt size and availability can only be guaranteed to pre-registered attendees by April 28. After that orders must be placed to insure on time delivery. There may not be desired sizes on hand/leftover after that date. We might even run out! So please don’t miss your chance.
