Still Got It! Angela Lansbury Sings "Beauty and the Beast" Live for The Film's 25th Anniversary
0 0

My favorite Disney movie of all time is turning 25!

There was a special anniversary screening in NYC over the weekend, which included a very special treat.

The iconic Angela Lansbury, who played Mrs. Potts in the film, stood before the audience and belted out the movie's titular song.  That's kinda huge considering she hasn't sang that song in public for over 20 YEARS.

She was accompanied by the movie's original composer, Alan Menken, for that final touch of magic.  Of course she ended the song with Mrs. Potts' iconic line, "Run along again to the cupboard, Chip," as the audience laughed and broke out into a standing ovation.

She was also joined by original voice actors Paige O'Hara (Belle), Robby Benson (The Beast) and Richard White (Gaston) for a special Q&A session with the audience.

Angela Lansbury is 90-years-old but she sounds exactly the same!  Check it out!
