Debbie Reynolds Passes a Day after Her Daughter's Death

2016 won't stop taking from us.

A day after we lost the iconic Carrie Fisher, who was an outspoken advocate of ending stigmas against mental illness and drug addiction, Debbie Reynolds has joined her daughter in heaven.

Reynold's son, Todd Fisher, said that while they were making funeral arrangements for Carrie, "She spoke to me this morning [Wednesday] and said she missed Carrie."  Soon after that, Reynolds said she began suffering a shortness of breath and was rushed to the hospital for, what many believe was, a stroke.

But others say that she died of a broken heart.

Two days.  Two iconic actresses.

Although Hollywood grieves, some are turning to Carrie for guidance.
