Kendall and Kylie Jenner Seriously Enraged the Music Industry
0 0

Someone needs to teach these two what copyright means.  Just because you're rich and famous doesn't mean you can steal things.

So, Kendall and Kylie Jenner launched a new line of vintage-style T-shirts that superimposed their faces over iconic album covers from various rap and rock artists.  Unfortunately for them, they didn't ask permission from anyone.  Which, understandably, caused the collective Internet to drag them.

And, to make matters worse, one famous photographer slammed them with a lawsuit.  Michael Miller, who photographed Tupac Shakur, claimed the girls exploited and misappropriated his work.  Miller also claims that because his work is now affiliated with Kendall Jenner, his reputation is tarnished.  The suit  claims, “an association with Kendall is particularly problematic given that she was complicit in not one but two of the worst public relations disasters in recent memory.”  Remember the Pepsi commercial?  Oh yeah.

It's not revealed just how much he's suing the Jenners for, but you know he's asking for a decent chunk of change.

Even though the girls pulled the line, the damage was already done.

On top of that, the music industry also weighed heavily on the blunder.

Including Sharon Osbourne.

Also, the Notorious B.I.G.'s family also had something to say about the new line.

So, what do you think?  Did the girls make an honest mistake?  Or do they deserve the backlash?
