Music You Should Know - Music's Biggest Stars Have Joined Forces!
0 0

Pink, Sia, Coldplay, and the Chainsmokers have teamed up for two EPIC songs!

Stargate ft. P!nk & Sia - Waterfall

This is a match made in music heaven!  P!nk and Sia are arguably some of the greatest vocal powerhouses out there.  For these two successful ladies to join forces in a new  song, you know it's gonna bring down the house.   In addition, Stargate is one of those unsung heroes in the music industry because they have written a swath of #1 songs that we know and love.

They helped Sia write Rihanna's "Diamonds."   They also wrote Rihanna's "Unfaithful," "Rude Boy," "Only Girl," and "Don't Stop the Music."

In short, these people helped Rihanna become the queen of the music industry.  Now, they're using their talents to bolster Sia and P!nk into new territory.  I mean, these women are praised for their own songwriting chops... so combining all three into one song that's pretty much on course for being the song of the summer... this song is gonna be everywhere for a while.  And we don't mind!

The Chainsmokers & Coldplay - Something Just Like This

Now here's another dynamic duo that's sure to shake up the song charts.  The Chainsmokers are arguably becoming the #1 pair to collaborate with.  They have made smash hits with Daya, Rozes, and Halsey.  Now, they've teamed up with their most famous collaborators yet.  Coldplay!

However, this song isn't clear from its own controversy.  Lots of fans are accusing The Chainsmokers of ripping off... well... themselves!  Apparently some fans think this single sounds too much like "Roses."   Man, fans really love their synths, don't they?

As for Coldplay fans, this is a breath of fresh air!  Dancey Coldplay music is never a bad thing!   And that's probably why this song has already smashed a YouTube record of most views in a day.  On the first day of release, it amassed over 9 million views.  By day two, the video was seen over 43 million times. Now, the song is now fast-approaching 100 million views.

It also is the most-streamed new release, which broke the record previously held by Justin Bieber.

So, this song is also a strong contender for one of summer's biggest songs.  Yeah, it's early to start predicting... but a lot of summer hits were released in March before they blew up become the massive hits we know and love.
