Train is the true definition of a classic band.

Despite their tremendous success, they've remained together and level headed despite whatever odds the music industry hurled at them.  They started in San Franscisco back in 1993 as a roots/rock band and burst into the scene in 1998 with their hit single "Meet Virginia."

Then, they became worldwide sensations in 2001 with their song "Drops of Jupiter."  It became their best selling single and won them two Grammy Awards!  The album the song appeared on, which carried the same name, also became the band's top selling album, becoming certified double-platinum.

They had continued success with their 2003 hit "Calling All Angels" but their music making came to a halt following the departure of original members Rob Hotchkiss and Charlie Colin.  The two were replaced by Brandon Bush (keyboards) and Johnny Colt (bass,) but their album in 2006 was commercially unsuccessful, so the band made the decision to go on a two-year hiatus.

Then, they came back with a vengance.  In 2009, they carried out multi-million selling hits "Hey Soul Sister" "Save Me San Fransciso" "If It's Love" and "Marry Me."

Then, the momentum really picked up again in 2012 with their song "Drive By" off their album California 37.

Their new album, A Girl A Bottle A Boat has spawned the massive hit "Play That Song."

Since their debut in the music industry, Train has sold over 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide

They're coming to Mohegan Sun on June 13th with special guests O.A.R. and Natasha Bettingfield.  Keep checking out the Star 99.9 Contest Page to win tickets!
