26 members of the Sandy Hook Elementary School chorus will join Jennifer Hudson at the start the Super Bowl by singing "America the Beautiful."  They haven’t released how old the children are but most speculation is that they are all first graders.  This is the group that recorded “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” in Fairfield. You can buy that on itunes and it all benefits Newtown.  The line up will be the kids and Jennifer Hudson singing America the Beautiful, then Alicia Keys with the national anthem- then coin toss and then kick. Beyonce started her press conference yesterday by asking everyone to please stand and then she performed a live rendition of the national anthem to silence the “haters”- She said she’s a perfectionist and she felt that she wasn’t prepared enough to perform live at the inauguration because she missed a rehearsal.  When questioned about performing live on Sunday at the Super Bowl Halftime show she said she would absolutely be performing live.  Emmy-winning TV comedy "30 Rock" bowed out after seven seasons on Thursday with bittersweet farewells but giving all its zany characters a happy ending.  Both Fey and Baldwin won the best TV comedy actor and actress accolades at the Screen Actor's Guild awards last Sunday, with Baldwin tweeting, "What a nice note for @nbc30rock to end on."
