FLOTUS Michelle Obama will turn 50 years old on January 17^th of next year and the big rumor is that there will be a huge party at the White House to celebrate- and the even bigger rumor is that the birthday girl has asked Adele and Beyonce to perform.  Allegedly Adele is so honored that she has waived her performance fee.  It was back in June that and emotional Ann Curry announced her departure from the Today Show- Of course she was basically fired from her position and the backlash was the worst that the Today Show had seen in it’s 60 year history.  Everyone blamed Matt Lauer saying that it was his fault- but now Matt Lauer is supposedly finally speaking out saying that he warned NBC executives and they ignored him- He says in an interview “I don’t think the show and the network handled the transition well- You don’t have to be Einstein to know that. It clearly did not help us. We were seen as a family, and we didn’t handle a family matter well.” Here's my rant- Ann Curry is one of the best role models for women in media.  She worked very hard to be one of the leading women in news and it's terrible that she lost the job she loves.  The show isn't the same without her.  Done and Done.  More here.

 Harry Styles from One Direction has a new tattoo that everyone’s talking about- It’s a giant butterfly on his chest... kind of like the ones that every 22 year old girl was getting on her lower back in 2002.  Harry Styles has over 30 tattoo’s and apparently the whole band has a ton- what has people raising eyebrows is that they tweeted "Have a real #1D tattoo? Show us! Submit a 90 sec YouTube video to 1d3dfan@gmail.com and show us why you should be in the @1D3Dmovie!" So basically, they were encouraging their fan base that’s about 14 years old to get One Direction tattoos so they can be in their movie- After a little bit the tweet was deleted and a spokesperson said that they do not encourage their fans to get One Direction tattoos.
