Homemade French Onion Dip

2 tablespoons Olive Oil

1 tablespoons Butter

2 large yellow Onions

2 green Onions

1 cup Sour Cream

1 cup Mayonnaise

Pepper

Heat 2 tbsp. of olive oil and 1 tbsp. of butter in a saute pan over medium-high heat.

Chop two large yellow onions and two green onions into 1/4-inch pieces. Add them to the hot oil and butter mixture. Saute the onions until they are golden brown. Remove the onions from the heat and allow them to cool completely.

Combine 1 cup sour cream and 1 cup mayonnaise with salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Add the onion mixture. Stir well to combine.
