6-Year-Old Spelling Bee Contestant Wows Crowds After correctly spelling "dirigible," 6-year-old Lori Anne Madison misspelled the word "ingluvies" and failed to advance to Thursday's semifinals in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. She is the youngest speller ever to compete in the event.
