Sacred Heart Student Sells Sandy Hook Shirts for Charity By Anna Zap
A Sacred Heart University student has started a t-shirt business at the college. The great part is that it has been done as a philanthropic measure to raise funds for the Sandy Hook Elementary School Memorial Scholarship Fund. The design on the shirt features the message “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal”. School officials said 100 shirts were initially printed and debuted on January 12th at the university's bookstore for $20. The response has been overwhelming and the school is deciding whether to order another batch. You can also order online.
