What happens when you take 4 guys, who like to upload covers of songs that they found on Youtube, and put them together? You get the band 5 Seconds of Summer, and they are on top of the world right now!
Formed back in 2011 with members Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford and Ashton Irwin, they were Youtube celebrities who got noticed when they opened up for One Direction.
From there, the fame grew after releasing their first album and a supporting tour aptly titled “Rock Out With Your Socks Out”
The guys had the biggest song of 2018, “Youngblood” took over the airwaves and the charts, cracking the top ten in 11 different countries!
5sos will be touring with the Chainsmokers and will actually make a stop here in Connecticut on September 22d.
