From noon to midnight today, Facebook Live will host a benefit event called Human to Human. Proceeds will benefit PLUS1, MusiCares and Sweet Relief in their mission to raise money for Covid-19 relief. Viewers will be asked to donate via text all throughout the program. Many artists will perform throughout the day including: Nicolas Petricca of Walk the Moon, Sam Nelson Harris of X Ambassadors, Lauren Daigle, and many more. Leon Bridges recruited John Mayer for his recent single “Inside Friend”. Ironically, it isn’t really about quarantine and social distancing, though the title would suggest otherwise during these tough times. However, the artist looks for a companion to hang with at home rather than go out to the bar or the club. This track has a relaxed vibe that is catchy and easy to listen to.
