Yesterday, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital held a virtual fundraiser for Giving Tuesday called the Take 5 for St. Jude. The fundraiser was comprised of musicians, actors, athletes and celebrities of all kinds. The four hour event was a feel-good variety show that really helps an organization like St. Jude, who was forced to cancel many other charity events this year. You can watch the full fundraiser here. One cool performance was from Shaed, who performed an acoustic set via live stream. Shaed performed for a Star 99.9 Acoustic Session a few years back that had a very similar feel to the special show. Jason Mraz is performing twice today. Every Wednesday at 1pm, he goes live on YouTube for his LaLaLa Livestream. Also tonight at 6:30pm, the Third Street Music School Settlement will hold their annual Gala, with tonight being a virtual one. The Gala honors musicians and performers who have helped the organization and it’s community. You can find this performance tonight here.
