TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: A rare dolphin sighting off the Connecticut shoreline caught on video

Usually if you want to see dolphins up close in person you have to go on vacation somewhere exotic and warm.

Unless you’re lucky enough to be out on the water when they show up here in Connecticut. Dozens of dolphins were seen off the Connecticut shoreline recently and one girl captured it all on video.

12 year old Amelia from Clinton, CT was with her parents out on their boat on The Sound when dolphins started showing up next to the boat. At least 50 of them swimming in pods alongside their boat!

Her dad said the last time dolphins were spotted in Connecticut that he can remember was four years ago off the coast of Westbrook.

Super fun!
