Maritime Garage Gallery Encourages Electoral Participation in New “Voice” Virtual Exhibit

The City of Norwalk Parking Authority’s Maritime Garage Gallery is holding its second virtual exhibit to promote voting in the upcoming November election. The exhibit, entitled “Voice,” will include artwork that shows how everyone has a voice and can use that voice through the power of voting. The exhibit will run from September 9 – November  3, 2020. The exhibit curator is local artist Robert Abriola.

The Gallery is looking for positive images, not ones that are polarizing or one-sided. Artwork should focus on the message that the voice through voting is critical to effect change. All accepted pieces will be displayed throughout September through November 3 on the Maritime Garage Gallery’s social media.

The Maritime Garage Gallery is part of the Parking Authority’s “Art in Parking Places” placemaking initiative, an effort to support art in parking spaces.
