All this week I have a really cool prize. Tickets to The Goo Goo Dolls 2022 Summer Tour at Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater in Bridgeport on Friday, August 12. But then… one grand prize winner at the end of the week will win a pair of Front Row Tickets to show!
Play trivia every day at 4pm to win. Would you have got today’s question right?
Q: The average person has 3 of these that they rotate throughout the summer
If you have a sweet tooth for dark chocolate like I do this is the best news you will hear all day.
Recently scientists have discovered that eating dark chocolate can lead to many health benefits. The cocoa in dark chocolate can lower your blood pressure and protect your heart. The antioxidants that are found in it can loosed veins and arteries. Their studies also found that giving someone a strong cocoa supplement could lower blood pressure in 3 just hours.
How often is something both delicious and healthy. Not often! Obviously like anything else moderation is the key here. You don’t want to be scarfing down bricks of chocolate every night. But I know what I’m having for dessert later.
If you’ve ever seen a statue with a person on a horse there is a hidden meaning behind it.
If the horse has both front legs up off the ground that means the person on the horse who the statue is honoring died in battle. If there is only one front leg up in the air that means they died from wounds suffered in battle later. If all four legs are on the ground it means they dies of natural causes.
Now you have some fun history knowledge to show off next time you see a statue with a horse.
