Ever since the pandemic began everyone’s birthday plans have been thrown for a loop. It’s especially hard for kids who are used to have a party with their friends and family.
That’s why a police officer in Massachusetts decided to buy some gifts and deliver them to a young boy who missed his 6th birthday part last year and his 7th this year! Officer Rob Ekross part of the Hopkinton, MA police department even bought the gifts with his own money.

With March Madness starting this weekend and everyone filling out their brackets today’s mystery is basketball themed. Why are most basketballs orange?
The main reason is visibility. Back before the 1950s all basketballs were dark brown. Until Butler University’s head basketball coach Tony Hinkle decided the brown color was hard for everyone to see. The players, the fans, the coaches, and refs all complained about it. So he decided to choose a much brighter more visible color, orange! And it’s been that way ever since.
