The Trumbull Rotary Club is proud to announce the launch of its “Heroes for Heroes” Raffle, a community-driven fundraiser supporting the development of the Veterans and First Responders Center, a new resource and gathering place being built in Trumbull, but serving all our surrounding communities.
With a strong legacy of service, the Trumbull Rotary is rallying residents, businesses, and civic leaders to honor our local heroes—military veterans and first responders—by raising funds to help complete a dedicated facility designed to support their unique needs and strengthen community connections. A place that says, “thank you” and how can we help.
“This project is a tribute to the everyday heroes who have given so much to our community,” said Nancy Kuhn, President of the Trumbull Rotary Club. “The Veterans and First Responders Center will provide a welcoming space for peer support, community programs, counseling services, and outreach events—built by the community, for the community.”
The Center will offer:
- A dedicated space for veterans to gather and connect
- Access to wellness and mental health resources
- Educational and vocational support services
- Programming and events to foster camaraderie and recognition
- Partnerships with local organizations to expand access to benefits and care
And due to its unique location, it offers a spot for our First Responders to further their training, including those involving water rescues.
