Lauren’s father-in-law moved in with them last year after her mother-in-law passed away. She feels like she’s replaced her MIL, every day she has to make him his morning coffee, prepare his lunch before she goes to work, make all his doctor’s appointments- and she doesn’t want to sound like she’s a bad person, but he’s 65, he should be doing these things on his own, she’s his daughter in law, not his wife. Her husband, Alvand, says he doesn’t know how to do these things on his own, he married his mom when he was 18, he doesn’t know how to take care of himself, have some compassion and help him out.
