Meet Reiki: This Shy but Sweet Kitty Needs a Patient, Loving Home

Every Thursday Connecticut Humane Society joins the show to tell us about another pet that needs a home.

This week meet Reiki! She’s a super cute 1-year-old domestic shorthair mix who came to CHS from local animal control. She’s a shy girl, but once she warms up to you she’s super playful and cuddly. It’ll be important for her new family to be nice and patient with her.

Here are some more specifics about the type of home she should go to:

~ I have not had much experience with children but am willing to consider sharing my home with kids who can be gentle and respectful of pets.
~ I have not had much experience with cats or dogs but am willing to consider sharing my home with a furry friend.
~ I am a quiet and reserved kitty. I would prefer a peaceful home.

Louie is furious because his wife, Daniella, asked his sister to leave their party last weekend. They were having a dinner party with seven couples attending (including his sister and her husband) and it was an adult dinner. His sister took it upon herself to bring her nine-week-old baby. At first, Daniella didn’t say anything but then the baby just kept crying and it was clearly disrupting their dinner. She then asked her sister-in-law and brother-in law to leave the party. Her husband can’t believe she was so rude; she argues that she was discreet, but they were in the wrong for bringing the baby in the first place. He wants his wife to call and apologize, she refuses and says if anyone is owed an apology it’s her.
