A perfect story for #TacoTuesday! A taco shop in the subrubs of Chicago has gone viral in the last week thanks to the daughter of the restaurant’s owner. She posted a video to her TikTok account saying how it breaks her heart to see her Mom watch the door everyday waiting for customers to walk in. And how she wises she could give her customers for Christmas.
Well, sure enough the clip went viral and people starting sharing the location of the restaurant. Customers started coming in droves to try the food. To the point that the girl and her Mom had to get more family members to come in and help. Since then there have been about 2,000 people leaving reviews on Google mostly 5-stars.
Such a nice story and great for this family and their holiday season.
We’re officially 12 days away from Christmas. Every year the list comes out of so how much it would cost to buy everything mentioned in “The 12 Days of Christmas”. And every year it gets more expensive.
This year’s report just came out. The cost to buy it all would be $45,523, up 10.5% from last year. Thanks, inflation… and if you kept buying the items over and over each day like the lyrics to the song it would be run you about $197,000.
Someone has to do it now right? The French hens would be the hardest to get I would think. Think about the shipping costs alone!

Like this 6-year-old girl in Los Angeles who desperately wanted to know if she could keep a unicorn if she ever comes across one in her backyard. She wrote into the L.A. County offices and they got back to her with some real answers!
They said yes and sent her a “unicorn license” certificate with her name on it, signed by the animal control director. They also sent a unicorn stuffed animal with a “permanent unicorn license” tag. Adorable. Here’s the facebook post of what it all looked like
They also sent along a few caretaking guidelines and rules she will need to follow:
give it “access to sunlight, moonbeams, and rainbows”
polish its horn at least once a month with a soft cloth
My family and I continued our tradition this year cutting down our Christmas tree over the weekend at Maple Row Farm in Easton.
It got me thinking… how long do these trees take to grow? It depends on the type of tree. But on average, the tree you put up in your living room needs up to five years to reach one foot and then a foot a year. Usually 8-12 yrs for a full grown tree.
