It’s always exciting when someone hits the triple threat of breaking world records, helping others, and creating a buzz on the internet. That’s exactly what the people at SpartanNash, a grocery chain in Michigan, did recently.
They were holding a food drive at their stores to collect packaged food items for people in need. They managed to get close to 6,000 donated food items which they then creatively spelled out their name with. A massive 150 foot wide “SpartanNash” could be seen from high above. The photo (which you can see here) has now gone viral.
They have since donated all the food to a food bank in Grand Rapids.
You’ve probably sent multiple emails today already where you’ve CC’d or BCC’d someone. BCC being the sneakiest of office tricks where you basically send it to others without the the person on the other end knowing. But why those letters?
CC stands for “carbon copy” and BCC is “blind carbon copy,” These terms come from back when they would use actual carbon paper make copies of documents by pressing ink onto an additional sheet of paper underneath. You could also make the “Blind carbon copies” which would hide the fact you made a copy from the original recipient. Just like emails!

If you have a dog you know how crushing it can be to lose them or if they were wonder off from your house. Luckily some people are using technology to make it easier to find lost pets now. Like 33-year-old Erica Hart.
Erica lives in England and recently just discovered a way to look for lost pets from a birdseye view, using her drone! Recently a pretty bad thunderstorm ripped through their neighborhood and one family had their dog run away after being startled by the thunder. Erica fired up the drone and was able to track down the pup within 20 minutes after the family told her the last place the dog was seen.
She directed the family to the nearby residential road she spotted their 2 year old dog and the family went to that spot and found her.
I feel like this could be turned into a business all over for people who lose their pets.
