TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Little League kids show more sportsmanship than most pro baseball players

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Little League kids show more sportsmanship than most pro baseball players

This clip has gone crazy viral in the last few days. In the Little League World Series southwest regional one of the kids hits a batter with a pitch… right in the helmet! It was a scary moment on the field so naturally he felt awful. But instead of what we usually see in baseball games, the two teams squaring off to fight each other… the kid who got hit by the pitch took the high road and did something incredible. He walked over to the mound to console his opponent.

Just an amazing display of sportsmanship from these kids. Some of the pro players could learn a lesson from these two. Love it.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Does tomato juice get rid of skunk smell?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Does tomato juice get rid of skunk smell?

I’m not sure how this myth even got started. How if you or your pet gets sprayed by a skunk to use tomato juice in a bath to get rid of the mell. It does not work. If anything it will make it smell even worse!

The thing to do if you are so unlucky to be sprayed by a skunk is a home remedy that has 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide, ¼ cup baking soda and 1 teaspoon liquid soap. The soap breaks up the oils in the skunk spray and allows the other ingredients to do their work to get the stank out. At the end you should rinse it all off with water. Being careful to not get it in the eyes.

But absolutely no tomato juice.
