Now a 70-year-old grandmother in Philly is helping. She used to be a lifeguard over 50 years ago when she was 16. Now she decided to come out of retirement and take it up again to help with the shortage.
There are still opportunities for lifeguard jobs here in CT if you or someone you know wants to help.
You’ve seen this in the running of the bulls in Spain, or at bull riding competitions on TV. The guys waves that red cape and the bull charges towards it. But the bull’s don’t charge because it’s red. It’s not the color at all, bulls are actually colorblind. They charge because of the way the cape moves and the motion of the fabric.
