Wednesday June 29, 2022:  Hide From Your Family; Is Raven Smarter Than a Toddler; Signature Dish

Has a bird ever done it’s business directly on you?  People claim that it’s good luck, but Anna’s 3 year old wasn’t buying it!  (:30)

Do you have trouble making small talk?  Anna found a Youtube tutorial on how to improve your conversational skills, but some of the advice is questionable…  (2:22)

Giving money as a wedding gift is perfectly fine, but if you give them money using Venmo, that’s all I need to know about you!  (6:22)

Have you ever hid something from your family?  Anna and Raven had a caller who’s husband has a secret stash of snacks in their house!  (10:22)

Gas prices got you down?  Play Raven in “Craig’s List Price Is Right” and you could win a $100 gas card!  (17:53)

Who do you think is smarter, Raven or a toddler?  Anna decided to put this age-old question to the test with a few questions from a Mensa quiz!  (21:00)

What’s your signature 4th of July dish?  A condiment company is coming out with a new “4th of July” themed popsicle, but you probably won’t see it at a lot of BBQ’s!  (28:45)

Nick and Melissa are hosting a Fourth of July party at their home and invited many of their neighbors. They have not invited their direct neighbors because they really don’t know them well. Melissa says that they should extend an invite because they live right next door and will be able to see that all the other neighbors are there. Nick says that they never even say hello to them, why would they invite literal strangers to their home? What would you do?  (36:22)

Jason has got a shot at $700!  Can he beat Raven in pop culture trivia and win all that cash?  (43:45)

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: This young Yankees fan is more exciting than their extra innings win

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: This young Yankees fan is more exciting than their extra innings win

The Yankees big comeback extra innings win over the Houston Astros on Sunday was very exciting and all, but not as exciting as what happened in out the bleachers with this one young fan.

Somewhere around the 9th inning she started attempting this water bottle game. Where you flip it and try to get it to stand on end. The crowd rallied behind her with each toss…

Here’s the video… it’s incredible and what going to a baseball game in the summer is all about.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Do babies have finger prints?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Do babies have finger prints?

I have two kids now and this is one I’ve always wondered. The answer is kind of “yes and no”.

Most babies do not have finger prints when they are first born. It’s not until they are about 3-6 months that they start to develop. Around 12-18 months they usually have enough of a print to make an imprint on ink.

Ever been sprayed by a skunk?  Many people go their whole lives without that happening, but Raven has had it happen twice now in just a few months!  (2:59)

Keeping yourself healthy is a good thing, but if you’re the person hogging all the equipment at the gym, that’s all I need to know about you!  (6:15)

Gas prices got you down?  Play Raven in “Craig’s List Price Is Right” and you could win a $100 gas card!  (24:17)

If you opened a restaurant, what kind of food would you serve?  Most people would probably say something like “burgers” or “Italian”, but Anna sent Producer Jon on the road to find out what kind of restaurant a kid would open!  (27:08)

Do you sing songs on long car rides with the family?  Anna has a long drive this 4th of July weekend and she asked Producer Jon to write a great song for her family to sing along to during the ride!  (30:36)

Ben and Miranda’s 24-year-old son has asked them to co-sign and help with a deposit on a new Bronco. Ben says that he works hard and is on a growth path at work, they should help him.  Miranda says they already help him financially with his rent and this is just enabling him to make bad financial decisions in the future.  Whose side are you on?  (34:21)
