TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Retired teacher gets special surprise from her former Kindergarten class who are now High School Grads

We all have that one teacher we will never forget. They make a lasting impact that will stay with you your whole life. It’s always nice with kids realize that and do something good for their former teacher.

Like this video that’s starting to go viral of a retired kindergarten teacher  who’s former class of students just graduated from high school. They are her last group of kids to graduate. As a surprise they decided to show up at her house in their caps and gowns to thank her for all she did for them years ago.

The video is great! Get ready for the happy tears to flow

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What exactly is a Strawberry Moon?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What exactly is a Strawberry Moon?

You’ve probably heard a lot about the Strawberry Moon this week. It happened last night. But what exactly was it and what does it mean? The easiest way to describe it… it’s when the full super moon’s orbit is closest to the earth. The color isn’t exactly bright red like a Strawberry… it gets it’s name from back when indigenous groups of people in the northeast realized this time of year was best for picking ripe strawberries.

Wednesday June 15, 2022:  Useless Thing You Won’t Throw Away; Warn Your Ex’s New Partner; Worst Place To Get A Sunburn

What was the one thing that your parents absolutely never wanted you to do?  Usually it’s something dangerous, but for Anna it all had to do with pizza…  (:30)

Raven has been out all week and broadcasting from home.  You can probably guess why.  For Wellness Wednesday, Anna decided to go over all the ways that Raven can get better, faster!  (3:01)

True love is a beautiful thing, but if you fast-track a lifelong commitment, that’s all I need to know about you! (6:31)

Have you ever been part of a break-up that was so bad that you felt the need to warn the next person who dates your ex?  Anna and Raven got a call from a listener having that exact problem…  (10:13)

The baby formula shortage has been tough, but Anna saw a trending news story about another shortage that could be just as impactful!  (17:05)

Do you find Dad Bod’s attractive?  Anna doesn’t but if you can convince her otherwise, you could win a $200 Home Depot gift card!  Today, Anna spoke fitness expert Amy Llinas to determine if a Dad Bod is not only attractive, but also healthy!  (20:24)

What’s the worst place to get a sunburn?  Anna’s husband is notorious for over-applying sunscreen, but this year he missed one key part of his body…  (23:41)

Do you have something that you just won’t throw away even though it’s useless?  Anna has something in her garage that she has no use for and it’s so big that she can’t even park her car there anymore!  (27:31)

Sam thinks his wife, Regina, is “buying into the baby proofing hype”. She wants to put gates at every stairwell, install hideous plastic things all around their furniture corners, and put plastic knobs over all the doorknobs.  He thinks it’s stupid.  Teach the kid not to go down the stairs, let him learn the hard way.  Plus, who pays for a company to do this for them? Whose side are you on?  (35:11)

Meghan has a shot at $1200!  All she has to do is beat Raven in pop culture trivia!  (41:53)

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: News anchor puts his enormous tie collection to good use

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: News anchor puts his enormous tie collection to good use

If you’re dad is anything like this guy he probably has a closet full of ties he never uses. Well, this is one great way to clear some out while helping people at the same time.

There is a local news anchor in Spokane, Washington named Tim Pham who has you can imagine has A LOT of neckties from wearing suits to work for years. About 250 to be exact. So he decided to start giving them away on his social media pages to young people going on job interviews, starting new jobs, etc… for them to look nice and make good first impressions. His story has a ton of buzz including a feature in USA Today. It’s even inspired others to do the same thing with their ties!

So if you’re Dad needs a good idea for his collection maybe he can join the fun.
