MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What was the first ever April Fools Prank?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What was the first ever April Fools Prank?

I’ll be honest, I thought about playing a prank with this feature and coming up with a completely fake mystery, but then I realized you’ve probably been fooled enough today.

Instead, let’s go back in April Fools history. According to second hand stories over the years the first ever prank that was pulled happened in the 1500s in Europe. The most popular trick was to tape a paper fish to someone’s back and let them walk around all day with it without them knowing. I have no idea why this is funny… but apparently people still do it to this day!

Savannah wants her husband, Matt, to do a “23 and Me” DNA test because she did it and it was fun, and she learned so much about her family. Plus, Matt was adopted, and she thinks it’s important to learn more about where he’s from since they have children together. Matt doesn’t think it’s important and thinks the whole thing is a scam. Would you take the test?  (34:48)

Raven is on a roll and the jackpot for Can’t Beat Raven is up to $4300!  Does Danielle have what it takes to beat him in pop culture trivia and claim the prize?  (42:00)

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD! Two Connecticut sisters win big at The Oscars

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD! Two Connecticut sisters win big at The Oscars

If you’re sick of all the Will Smith/Chris Rock news from last weekend’s Oscars, here’s a totally different Oscar related story involving two people from Connecticut.

Christina and Raeann are two sisters in Glastonbury who started their own company, The Power to B bracelets. Last Sunday they were out in Hollywood providing some of their glitz and galmour to the stars!

During one of the pre-Oscar events on Sunday some of the celebs were rockin’ their designs. Including Viola Davis, Anthony Anderson and Jason Ritter.

The jewelry line has a empowering backstory too since they started the company after the both went through personal struggles with fertility.

Even better news… now because of all the buzz and popularity of the jewelry collection at the Academy Awards, The Power to B is going to get featured at the GBK Brand Bar boutique in West Hollywood! How cool is that?! Congrats ladies.

If you want to check them out you can see their jewelry at www.ThePowertoB.com or in Glastonbury at 81 Rankin Road.
