For over two decades now a woman named Carolyn Hawkins has been leaving an impact on people’s skin with her tattoo skills. Now she’s helping the fight against one of the most misunderstood diseases in the world.
For the last 4 years Carolyn has been helping the fight against Lyme Disease. Every February she donates funds from her shop in Shelton to the Lyme Warrior Project as part of the Ink to End Lyme program.
Shelton Tattoo Shop was one of 22 tattoo locations around the country who took part this year.
Not only do they raise money for the cause but also awareness for a disease many people don’t know much about. Back in 2020 before the pandemic they took in over $20,000.
We’ve all been there before… you get to the end of a meal when you’re at a restaurant and suddenly realize you left your wallet or purse at home. Oh no… are they going to make you wash the dishes?! Most likely not.
What usually happens as long as your honest about it is the manager will allow you to leave and come back with the payment. Some places will allow you to call back with the credit card info over the phone, others might as you to leave some kind of collateral so they know you’ll return to pay.
Either way, make sure you double check that you have money before you leave the house so you don’t have to worry about this problem.

As someone who is Irish and grew up loving St. Patrick’s Day, I am very jealous of this family.
A family in Nebraska has a child who turned one yesterday on St. Patrick’s Day. which is pretty cool on its own. But the mother also turned 32 the same day! And get this… the grandmother turned 67! All three generations were born on St. Patrick’s Day. How insane and cool is that?!
If you’re wondering… the odds of it happening to three generations in a row are about 100,000 to one. I guess you could say it’s the luck of the Irish for that house.
To many people Netflix still feels like a relatively new company. That’s mostly because they have done a tremendous job adapting to the everchanging entertainment environment. Where’s all my Netflix OG’s who had DVDs lined up in their queue to be mailed?!
What a lot of people don’t realize is just how long Netflix has actually been around. It was launced before Google existed even! Netflix first came out in 1997. Google wasn’t until 1998.
