As someone who is Irish and grew up loving St. Patrick’s Day, I am very jealous of this family.
A family in Nebraska has a child who turned one yesterday on St. Patrick’s Day. which is pretty cool on its own. But the mother also turned 32 the same day! And get this… the grandmother turned 67! All three generations were born on St. Patrick’s Day. How insane and cool is that?!
If you’re wondering… the odds of it happening to three generations in a row are about 100,000 to one. I guess you could say it’s the luck of the Irish for that house.
To many people Netflix still feels like a relatively new company. That’s mostly because they have done a tremendous job adapting to the everchanging entertainment environment. Where’s all my Netflix OG’s who had DVDs lined up in their queue to be mailed?!
What a lot of people don’t realize is just how long Netflix has actually been around. It was launced before Google existed even! Netflix first came out in 1997. Google wasn’t until 1998.

All week I have tickets for Boyz II Men coming to the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport Sunday, August 28. Win them before you can even buy them on Friday.
Play every day at 4pm to win. Would you have got today’s question right?
Q: According to Irish legend, what creature did Saint Patrick famously chase out of Ireland?
Two years ago right around this time the world was shutting down as the Covid-19 pandemic began. All the St. Patrick’s Day parades, celebrations, parties, all were getting cancelled. As someone who LOVES this day it was such a bummer.
But now two years later St. Patrick’s Day is back in a big way. Here in Connecticut you might have seen us in Stamford, New Haven last weekend… and there are more coming up this weekend.
New York City had their big St. Paddy’s day parade this morning for the first time since 2020.
The famous tradition of dying the Chicago river green every year was cancelled in 2020 but returned for 2021 and again today.
It feels good to have it all back again. So raise a Guinness, put on your green, and have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! You’ve probably seen a lot of people shortening it to either St. Paddy’s or St. Patty’s in your feed and on their posts today. But which one is correct?
Here is the official explanation if you don’t want to make everyone is Ireland mad.
Since Patrick is the English version of the Irish Gaelic name Pádraig, and the nickname for Pádraig is technically Paddy… so St. Paddy’s with a D would be the correct one to use. “Patty” would be short for the female name Patricia which isn’t referencing Saint Patrick at all.
There is even an entire website dedicated to this! Which is hilarious. It’s paddynotpatty.com
