I’m a huge fan of Blink-182 so last April I was devastated when I heard the news that singer/bassist of the band Mark Hoppus had been diagnosed with Stage 4-A Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Over the months since he had been keeping the fans updated on his health. Then yesterday on his Instagram he gave some of the best news of all…
Gold is very popular lately and today’s mystery… are the rumors true that you can eat gold?
The answer… kind of. Pure gold is safe to eat, but it’s basically flavorless. So those gold flakes on your fancy dessert you won’t even taste. But… you shouldn’t eat your gold jewelry or anything else that looks gold because most likely it’s definitely NOT pure and probably has other metals or chemicals mixed in. Yuck.

Anna has three crazy news stories and Raven is gonna pick one to get the details on! Today his options are; Florida man arrested for sucking toes, man turns himself in for murder of imaginary friend; and an unconventional way of trapping an alligator! (4:18)
What’s a phrase you swore you would never use as a kid, that you say all the time as an adult? Anna swore she would never become the mom who says this cliché “mom-ism” all the time, but somehow she ended up using it constantly! (8:17)
Do you have an unnatural fear? Anna has a constant fear of dropping her phone and breaking it, but that has nothing on one caller’s fear of the dreaded September Bees! (11:39)

Michelle has a big dinner coming up with her boss and his wife, and she has asked her own husband, Andrew, to leave his phone in the car during the meal so he won’t look rude by checking it. Andrew says that’s condescending of her, it’s not like he’s a child who can’t control himself! Whose side are you on? (36:31)
Sylvanna thinks that she’s got what it takes to beat Raven in pop culture trivia! Can she succeed and win the $2700 jackpot? (43:40)

Anna says Miracle Whip is nasty, but Raven disagrees! We decided to let producer Jon and Sean try a spoonful to get their opinion about it. Will they agree with Anna or Raven!?
Of all the world records to break this one sounds the most delicious. A small town outside of Des Moines Iowa where only about 5,000 people live set the record for largest serving of pancakes. They got local businesses and volunteers to help cook and eat 14,280 pancakes!
Since it was a world record there were very specific rules, like each pancake had to be 0.4 inches thick and five inches in diameter. It took 2,400 pounds of batter to make all of them.
The previous record was 13,000 pancakes which was just set this past June. I feel like we could take on this record here in Connecticut if we really tried. Let’s make it happen! Who’s hungry?
They’ve been around for years but have become more popular than every the last year or so because of Covid-19… QR Codes. We use them for menus, links, everything now. But what does the QR actually stand for?
It’s pretty simple actually… “Quick Response”. Whatever code you point your smartphone camera or reader at gives you the information quickly.
You’re definitely going to drop this knowledge on someone next time you’re out to eat and scanning for a menu.
How do you know when it’s time to leave? As someone who grew up in the restaurant industry, Anna can tell when the waitstaff is eager for you to leave but it can be harder to tell when it’s time to leave a friend’s party!
