Board games can be a fun way to bond with friends and family. Or they can be a one way ticket to a throwdown! Anna couldn’t believe the percentage of people who have gotten into a physical fight over a board game! (:30)

As kids many people dream of being an astronaut when they grow up. Some are a little more determined than others. Like 7-year-old Elizabeth Norman from England.
Elizabeth is obsessed with all things space. She even created a replica Vulcan Centuar rocket earlier this year and launched it from her garden. Once U.S. space experts caught wind of “Astro Liz” (which they now call her) and her interest in the space program they decided to make her part of the next mission. Offering to include a sticker carrying the name of her space blog in the next real Vulcan Centuar launch to the moon later this year. It will be the first trip to the moon in almost 50 years.
Elizabeth’s whole family will travel to Florida later this year to see the launch happen.
Good luck Astro Liz! You’ll no doubt be making your own trip to space very soon.

We have plenty of billboards here in Connecticut. Certain parts of Long Island are billboard free and places like Vermont have zero billboards. Why is that?
Vermont was actually the first of four different states to ban billboards back in 1968. The others are Maine, Hawaii, and Alaska. Instead Vermont uses travel information signs along the state highways to inform and guide visitors and residents. So next time you’re up skiing in Vermont you will now know why you don’t see any billboards.

Meet Wendy, an adorable one-year-old, 43 lb. shepherd/terrier mix. Sadly she has not had a great start to her life. She was found abandoned in a deep ditch on the side of the road in rural North Carolina. Despite her past, this girl is always so happy and loves people!
She is a sweet and energetic pup who loves hiking, playing outside, and doing zoomies around the yard. She enjoys a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or chewing on a bone. When she’s not busy
having fun, Wendy is a cuddly love-bug who just wants to be next to her person. She’s the best of both worlds!
She knows “sit,” is food motivated, walks well on a leash, and is both house and crate trained. She’s a great listener and a very trainable dog. She is not much of a barker, even when passing other
people and animals while on walks. Wendy is good with other pups, would be fine with children, and will make a wonderful family dog! You must have a fenced yard to be considered for her adoption.
Wendy is up to date on vaccines, micro chipped, heart worm negative, and spayed. If you are interested in meeting or adopting this gorgeous girl, please visit www.happilyfureverafter.org/adopt
or email [email protected].
