Keeping with our Tell Me Something Good graduation theme here’s another great story of someone finally getting their diploma.
The other day 94-year-old Grace Lee Smith finally graduated from Hazel Green High School in Alabama. She had to drop out way back in 1942 when her husband went off to fight in World War II. In the years that followed she worked as a school bus driver for 30 years.
Congrats Grace! All those years paid off. Be proud and throw that cap in the air.

Coldplay’s new song Higher Power has been out for a few weeks now. Today they released this crazy new video for it.
They teamed up with superstar music video director Dave Meyers, who has worked with artists like Taylor Swift, Travis Scott and Billie Eilish in the past. The plot of the Higher Power video sees the band exploring a colorful trash planet named Kaotica, whose alien language (Kaotican) features in the video and across the Higher Power artwork.
This fake planet of Kaotica is populated by robot dogs, giant holograms and a street-gang of dancing aliens. Somewhere James Cameron is very proud and into this.
Meyers said “The video is a metaphor for how, right now, we all feel alienated, far removed from our world, almost like we’re on an alien planet. And ultimately we find love in the streets and that euphoria shoots us off into the stratosphere of our own energy and higher power.”
Maybe Coldplay’s next tour will actually be IN space!
Summer is here, we are in the middle of an early June heat wave and people want to air it all out and let their toes fly in the car. But is it illegal?
In most states in the country the answer is no. You will not be fined as a driver for letting your toes air out inside the car. But at the same time that doesn’t mean it is a good idea. A lot of law enforcement say they still encourage people not to do it. It’s always best to drive with footwear that has a good drip so your feet don’t slip off the pedals.
Here in Connecticut there are not currently any state laws that address the driving barefoot issue. Probably best to keep those toes away in the car until you get to the beach.
