It’s a good problem to have if you’re a high school with TOO many smart kids who could be head of the class.
With graduations coming up soon there is one high school in Texas who named NINE kids valedictorian. They did this because all nine kids had perfect GPAs. I wonder if they will give nine speeches at their graduation. That’s going to be a long ceremony.

If you’ve ever visited Los Angeles you’ve probably seen the Walk of Fame. Even if you haven’t you know what it is. A sidewalk of stars with famous celebrity names. Most are real people, but do any fictional characters have stars?
There are actually 18 fictional characters with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The most recent that was given was Alvin and the Chipmunks, who got their star in 2019. Mickey Mouse was the first to get one back in 1978.
I wonder who the next will be? Maybe CoComelon? If you’re a parent of young kids, you know what I’m talking about… ha ha

This one is for anyone who has a soft spot for animals.
Last week in California 11 baby ducks fell into a storm drain. The animal control officer who arrived on the seen decided to coax them to come out by playing mother duck sounds on her cell phone. Brilliant idea. And the best part is, it worked!
Animal control doesn’t get enough credit. They’re out here saving animals every day. They need more praise.

This is very random I know, but I’ve always wondered why the Worldwide Wildlife Fund chose a panda bear as their logo. Out of all the wildlife they could’ve picked.
For #WorldWildlifeDay, we’re imagining a #WorldWithoutNature by removing the iconic panda from our logo. Nature loss impacts every aspect of our lives, and our relationship with nature is at a crossroads. Will we love it, or lose it? Learn more: https://t.co/XWVKolACmb pic.twitter.com/v5KWrnz4aO

The answer is pretty funny actually. It all comes down to saving money. The panda being black and white cuts down on the cost of printing. Which makes total sense. I guess they could’ve went with a zebra or skunk too, but the panda seems more cuddly.
You know what wouldn’t be cheap to print? A parrot logo!
